American
Express
The
Global Procurement Department of American Express is responible
for pre-screening merchants and negotiating special pricing and
services for American Express members.
Garrett
Zucker had just finished creating an online training site and
redesigning the entire Global Procurement intranet presence. The
people of the Global Procurement Department wanted to make a huge
announcement about that and other upcoming events.
They
asked Zucker to create a Flash presentation that could be linked
to an email and sent to everyone at American Express.
The
corny text was provided. Each place "visited" in the
presentation represents an area with an American Express Global
Procurement office. The photographs were manipulated in Adobe
Photoshop and the original artwork was created with Adobe Illustrator.

Processing Services
Tempe-based
Vital Processing Services (Vital) is the second-largest merchant
payment processor in the country.
They
attend several industry trade shows to promote their commerce-enabling
solutions, though no show is a important as the Electronic Transfers
Association (ETA) Conference.
The
Vital booth had always had a large, flat screen monitor displaying
a looping PowerPoint presenation. However, beginning in 2001, Garrett
Zucker began providing Vital with Flash presentations.
Zucker's
Flash presentation was instrumental in Vital's booth being named
"Best in Show" at the 2002 ETA Conference.
The
images in the presentation were formatted in Adobe Photoshop.

Creative Environments
Creative
Environments is Arizona's oldest and largest landscape design and
installation company.
There
tag line is "if you can dream it, we can build it," but
not everyone, including their clients, is familiar with that.
In
order to get the words to stick in people's heads, Garrett Zucker
suggested putting it into a song.
Zucker
wrote the words and the music for the jingle and actually plays
sings and plays guitar on the track.
The
jingle -- and following instrumental -- are now used on Creative
Environments' corporate video, photo loop DVDs, as well as the message-on-hold
for their phone system.

Vision Awards
Tempe-based
Creative Environment holds an annual event called the "Vision
Awards." It is a large function for their employees where individual
accomplishments are acknowledged and the strategies for the coming
years are publicized. Additionally, beginning in January 2005, a
video is shown that recaps some history and outlines the future.
Garrett
Zucker conceptualized the video, wrote the script, manipulated all
of the still images, and requested specific motion clips to be added
by the video production company. Zucker directed the cameraman and
video participants in order for his vision to appear on the screen.
He even has a bit part in the beginning.
In
a survey that followed the event, many Creative Environments employees
listed the video as their favorite part of the evening.
